Description: Reliable, context-specific data is essential for strengthening mental health systems, yet many African countries face significant gaps in reporting and evidence. These gaps are especially critical in immigration and asylum cases, where accurate information on service availability can shape legal outcomes.
This webinar presents findings from MindMap Africa, a project that systematically maps mental health systems across six countries—Central African Republic, Chad, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania—covering policy, services, workforce capacity, medication access, and stigma.
Join us to learn how this initiative helps close data gaps, inform policy and practice, and support more equitable and evidence-based decision-making in global mental health and human rights.
