Arjun Chhabra
Arjun is a junior in the School of Health majoring in Global Health, with particular interests in climate change and mental health. On campus, Arjun volunteers as an EMT with Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service (GERMS), serves as a Co-Chair on the School of Health Academic Council, and makes meals for DC locals experiencing homelessness with Homeless Outreach Programs and Education (HOPE). In his free time, Arjun also hosts a show on Georgetown Radio and writes for The Georgetown Independent, a student journal of arts and culture. Outside of Georgetown, he interns for Solvatten, an organization that invented a solar-powered filtration unit to provide people living in developing countries with safe and hot water in a portable and environmentally friendly way. Most recently, Arjun has received a grant from Georgetown Earth Commons to study the ecological grief experienced by indigenous populations in the United States under the mentorship of Dr. Shabab Wahid.
