Student Researcher
Teresa Kim is a Global Health major at the School of Health and Economics minor. Her interests lie in the intersection of international development and health, and specifically mental health outcomes. In the 2024-2025 academic year, she was a Global Health Institute Student Fellow, where she first started working with the Global Mental Health and Well-Being Initiative to advance research and informed activism and advocacy for mental well-being on campus. Through her fellowship, she has created media for the GMHWBI and helped plan events for community engagement.
Currently, she is on the qualitative research team for the Diagnostic Equity in Depression project, which will explore Black men's mental health perceptions in the US. She also tutors migrants workers in English through Georgetown's DC Schools Program, leads worship for Delight Ministries, and sings for Georgetown's Chapel Choir.
