Gracya Rudiman

G. Gracya Rudiman, born and raised in Indonesia as a first-generation student, is pursuing her Master of Science in Global Health at the School of Arts and Sciences. Her academic background is anchored in psychology, further enriched by a certification in neuroscience. She focuses on enhancing mental health outcomes for children in developing countries, utilizing her interdisciplinary expertise to tackle complex health issues. She is also a Fellow in the Masters of Science in Global Health program.
Gracya’s commitment to global mental health was notably recognized in 2021 when she presented her research on the perceptions of mental health in Indonesia at the Association for Psychological Science Conference. This flash talk presentation bridged cultural and scientific research, showcasing her dedication to improving mental health understanding across different communities.
In addition to her academic and research endeavors, Gracya plays a pivotal role in broadening the discourse on global health challenges as the host of the Global Health Podcast at Georgetown University, bridging academic research with public discourse. She is active in the Indonesian Georgetown Community, which exemplifies her commitment to fostering a supportive network among her peers.
Gracya collaborates on the RESTORE project with Anna Shaw and Dr. Shabab Wahid.
